SMP Equipment Sales,LLC is owned and operated by Scott Pierce. We are located in Woodinville, WA. Our forte is buying and selling clean, late model, low houred machines. We always have a good inventory of machines that are ready to work. We also offer tremendous transportation rates through our trucking company.
Scott's background is interesting to say the least. Scott started racing go-karts in his youth. He started driving limited hydroplanes at 15 years old. Scott won five regional Championships in the limiteds. At 24 years of age Scott drove his first Unlimited hydroplane, Oh Boy Oberto. He was rookie of the year in 1981 and finished the season 4th in National hi-points. In 1991 Scott finally achieved his life long goal, and earned the World Championship in the legendary Miss Budweiser. Scott has driven for most every major unlimited team, and has won most of the major races on the circuit. Scott retired from competition in 2001. Scott now owns a major west coast based sprint car team.
In 1992 Scott invested in Seattle Boat Co. which at the time was a struggling Cobalt dealership. Scott and his partner turned the business around drastically over the next ten years. In 2002 Scott sold his interest in Seattle Boat.
2003 opened another chapter in Scott's life as he started buying and selling used heavy equipment. A good friend from the boat racing world, introduced Scott to the business. In 2006 we added Scott Pierce Trucking to our business model. Scott Pierce Trucking is currently operating four trucks, three refer rig's and one step deck. Call us for all of your trucking needs.
